a. They're simply dropped into the setting and have no real choice in the matter. Your character simply wakes up in the setting.
b. We like samples to reflect the changes your character has gone through in their game(s), if you cannot provide a sample link that shows why Mario is suddenly dating Browser, we'll be a bit skeptical. We want to see that development!
c. As stated at the top of the FAQ, there are no canon updates. Nor will there be.
d. Sorry to say, but characters don't get a pick up truck. Not until they wish for one anyway. It's merely a guideline for how much your character will have appear in their home when they wake up.
